Dr. Ma is currently a full-professor in the College of Biotechnology, at Tianjin University of Science and Technology.
Dr. Ma got her Ph.D. in biology from University of Nebraska-Lincoln, USA. After that she worked as a post-doctoral researcher for a few years. She acquired broad expertise in molecular biology, ‘omics’ methods, and genome editing, especially she has made significant contributions to the understanding of epigenetic mechanisms in algal systems.
Dr. Ma is also working as a student council for Grade 2019 Foreign students. She is very much interested in and looking forwarding to international collaboration in various aspects.
